Identity Theft at All Time High in CY 2012: Up 32% From Previous Year

According to the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) calendar year 2012 Consumer Sentinel Network Databook (Feb 2013), identity theft reports have reached an all time high.  In fact, the the number skyrocketed 32% higher than reported in 2011, and a staggering increase of 328% since just 2001.
